Stock Bistro & Bar accommodated four friends for Valentine's Day brunch. The cocktails were delicious and so was the meal. There was a special menu for brunch with good options. The four of us shared the Smoke Gouda appetizer (wonderful and the sauce, divine) and we each had the Tarragon Vermouth Chicken Salad on toasted Rye. One patron ordered a separate side order of fries; also delicious. Our server was very attentive, polite, and had a cute personality. She was dressed for the occasion and embraced our shenanigans. We'd all had cocktails at Stock before but had never eaten at the restaurant; I even had my 50th birthday celebration upstairs in the hotel and ballroom in 2023. It was a great experience and know we'll be back again to celebrate another fun occasion over good food and drink.

It was our first time dining at the Stock Bistro & Bar. The menu was perfect size and the food was extraordinary/ delicious. The open kitchen was a nice atmosphere. The whole restaurant atmosphere was super cozy. They cocktails menu super delicious and creative ( especially the Drop them Beet) cocktail was delicious and unique flavor. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone and also definitely dining again.

We dined on the restaurant week menu. We very much enjoyed the beer battered hot dogs fried in duck fat! The crispy pork belly entree and the cake/ice cream dessert was delicious also. We enjoyed cocktails with our dinner and look forward to returning!

My husband and I had "date night" at Stock and really enjoyed our time. Our request for a quiet table was honored and staff was incredibly nice. They even brought us a complimentary glass of sparkling Syrah that was a nice touch. Our server, Sarah, was very helpful and made good recommendations. The ambiance is very cool, kind of like eating in an upscale furniture store, and the furniture is beautifully handcrafted in Roanoke. I had the fish/cheese platter as a meal, but it's on the menu as an appetizer. It was more than enough for me. My husband had the short ribs and they were flavorful and presented beautifully. The rye cake with ice cream for dessert was fantastic, and we're not really dessert people. Overall, we will definitely return to this place!

This is a very interesting and unique place. It's an old Firehouse and the front of the room is actually a furniture store (Roanoke, Virginia made furniture) that you can actually sit in. The staff are very friendly, food is fantastic and some very Northern Europe flavor to it. The whole trout I had was done perfectly, a great piece of fish. This is one of the better, more unique dining venues in Roanoke, right downtown across from Market area too!!

Absolutely delicious food, awesome drinks, beautiful atmosphere, and the bar tender Eric was very friendly. I highly recommend eating here while you're in Roanoke.

Fantastic meal in a great setting. Wonderful creative cocktails and friendly staff. Open kitchen, Danish mid century modern interior. Coupled with a mid century modern furniture store selling furniture made in Roanoke. A great find on a Saturday afternoon stroll through downtown Roanoke.

Stock is my favorite restaurant in downtown. The steak is incredible, and you can't go without trying the fried Gouda for an appetizer. They even have an incredible ice cream sandwich for dessert called the ski queen. I cannot recommend the place enough. Wether you're going for cocktails and appetizers, mocktails, or a full dinner it is the perfect place.

The portions were a little small for the price. The restaurant itself has an open concept but everything is too close to the kitchen which makes the entire atmosphere too loud. Oysters were the highlight of the meal. Drinks were decent and nothing special. Overall the price did not justify the experience unfortunately and Roanoke has better upscale dining options.

Lovely experience. The food was stellar. We had the fried Gouda, Hasenpfeffer and poached salmon. All delicious. The butternut squash cocktail was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. Extremely creative and tasty.

Both food and service wer great and I enjoyed my dinner. My only gripe would be that the Schnitzel breading isn't very traditional for a Schnitzel.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. Thought it was going to be small plates, but the portions were very, very adequate, even shareable. Well stocked bar and knowledgeable bartender. We will return.
