If I could give her less than a star I would. I was attending a wedding that she the cake for and she was very unprofessional. Delivered the cake not in boxes and only the top tier of the cake made it to the wedding. Offered no explanation on what happened and they didn't even get the cake they ordered. She didn't give any compensation for the cake being destroyed. I would not recommend her services for anything.

She made a cake for my son's birthday. It was perfect! Looked and tastes great. My son was so excited and loved it!

I will start off by saying the cupcakes were delicious but the communication is terrible. I was helping my nephew and his fiancé plan their wedding since they live in Australia, I was responsible for planning their wedding!!! The communication was great at first, the tasting went well and I informed her I would pick up the wedding cake and cupcakes myself because of all the bad reviews stating she was late. My sister-in-law went and picked them up for us and she said everything went well!!!! However, when I opened the boxes our order was completely wrong!!! I called and sent an email and never heard anything from her.. No one but the bride and groom was upset because they knew what they was suppose to have. So if you order from her, I would suggest picking them up yourself and checking to make sure your order is correct prior to leaving her shop.

While the cake and cupcakes were delicious, Shaneice was over TWO hours late delivering my wedding cake. My coordinator called several times and she didn’t answer, when she finally did, she said she would see if she could get her brother to bring it to the venue as if she had no idea we had email correspondence with exact times and dates for delivery. Nor did she apologize to any of us. When her brother rolls up, the entire car reeked of weed, which I wouldn’t mind if my baked goods weren't sitting inside it! A really terrible experience and I would not recommend such an unprofessional business with something as important and expensive as your wedding cake. Absolutely atrocious service.

The cake was delicious and beautiful. I was very pleased.

With like 2 weeks notice, a flavor and a list of colors, this woman made THE most beautiful cake I have ever seen that matched my wedding perfectly and was absolutely delicious. I could not have dreamed up a better cake, absolutely perfect.

She makes the most beautiful cakes, she's an artist!

I would highly recommend Sweets by Shaniece for wedding cake. Shaniece was quick to respond to any of our questions, has great pricing for amazing cake, and the storefront was so cute when we went by to pick up samples. The cake samples we were given were larger than we expected, and that was a nice surprise. The hardest part was choosing which flavors, because they were all so good! The cake and cupcakes were exactly what we wanted and we received so many compliments on the cake. I cannot recommend enough! Thank you Shaniece for helping make our wedding perfect!

I placed an order for a corporate event for work. For starters I placed the order at least 2-3 weeks prior to the event . The day of the event she was not on time with the order, she arrived at least 2-3 hours late. We needed the items for at a particular time and this was expressed when placing the order. The cupcakes and muffins were delivered and they were very very mediocre, the presentation was awful and they were dry. We spent almost $600 on cupcakes and muffins. So this was very disappointing. We expressed our concerns and she asked if she could make it up. So we told her that we could use them for the upcoming month. Giving her a whole months notice, she was supposed to bake us some cookies. The day of the event once again she was unprepared and didn't have our items. I don't know how you call yourself a bakery and you have no time management, organization and your presentation is less than. This is a big company so how could you drop the ball and miss out on future opportunity.

I live in NC but I came to Roanoke to celebrate my mom’s birthday. I ordered a strawberry cake with whipped buttercream, the cake was delicious! My mom enjoyed it and so did me and my siblings, will definitely be coming back.

Communicated with the owner for over a week or so about ordering a cake, everything was going well until we asked for a cake tasting.Shaneice was very annoyed about this, had a bad attitude, and acted very unprofessional!!!!Then she mentioned something about how she hadn't received a deposit yet and that she never had agreed to make the cake.

Shaneice is such a sweet and lovely soul! Everyone who has recommended her has always said how delightful she was! Her milkshakes are legendary as well as the cake pops!!!

She is the absolute best. She allowed us to come in and have a wonderful cake tasting for our upcoming wedding. She made everything perfectly, delivered on time and looked amazing. She also made our bridal shower cookies and looked even better than the picture we gave her. I recommend her to anyone and everyone for all of your baking needs!
