We had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our meal. The staff was excellent and very knowledgeable about their menu. We will definitely be back in the future.

Table 50 has been our favorite restaurant for years but our last experience there may prevent us from ever going there again. First, it was packed which meant that the noise was at the highest level and made it impossible to talk. We could live with that. We had the worst table in the restaurant- at the end of the tables out in the middle of the floor. We had the only table where everyone who came in the restaurant went by our table and everyone leaving from the entire main part of the restaurant went brushing by our table. This was not optimal but we could live with it. Also, we waited about 30 minutes for our meal. The food was the final straw. The portions were about one half of what we usually are served- no more than a couple of bites of mashed potatoes and a couple of bites of a vegetable. But the final straw was the fried chicken which I discovered was almost raw inside after I had to swallow the bite I took. After showing the chicken to the waitress, she offered to give me another chicken breast but considering how long we had waited for the food to begin with, I said no. She said she was going to take off something off which ended up being a measly $8. She appeared to care less which did not help. All in all, a bad experience!!!!!!!!!

This restaurant never disappoints. Restaurant week is a great week to try this restaurant if you haven't it's a great value and allows you to try a couple things.

My recent experience with Table 50 did not disappoint. Everything was perfect from the start. The New Orleans barbecue shrimp appetizer was just the way I like it -- firm, not overcooked, and with just the correct amount of heat/spice, the filet mignon was expertly grilled to my medium rare specification, and the delicious chocolate mousse torte completed my meal in the best possible way. Service was exceptional as well. My favorite Roanoke establishment.

Our food was lukewarm...the mashed potatoes were barely warm and the filet was very tender...but it was lukewarm...I feel these items were pre prepared due to Restaurant Week.
