Their food is pretty good. Friendly staff, and the owner is a sweetheart. She’s so kind, she gave some of her very own special cake that was made for her. But I do I hate being in the mall, and that’s why I put a 3 stars for the Atmosphere.

I love to get the teriyaki chicken and/or the shrimp roll. I get those every time I go there and it’s the best especially the shrimp roll. Must try yourself.

Teppan is great. Food is very tasty and portion is good. Food is very affordable. I recommend the spring rolls, that sauce they come with is delicious. Also staff was always chill but now they are getting even nicer so that’s cool. Yum Yum sauce is the real star here but it’s extra for more than the two you already get when you order. (Two is enough for me though but my friends get one extra it’s a couple cents?)

I love that it is cooked in front of you and that the areas are wiped down and kept clean. For a few dollars more I got extra meat and veggies and ended up feeding 4 people instead of one. I love the prices because you definitely get your money's worth. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a place I will definitely be visiting again ?

First time eating there with my sister on her Birthday. She had the Beef Teriyaki and I had the Shrimp Teriyaki. Everything was hot and delicious. We enjoyed our meal. ??
Hands down best spicy tuna hand rolls in the roanoke area, & they are always 100% fresh. Located in the food court side of valley view so most people don’t know where this hidden sushi gem is, but I stop by whenever I’m in town & only go in the mall sometimes to get sushi. Thank you for being open!

Great Sushi and stir fry. We always enjoy our meal here. Every time we are in the mall we make it a choice to eat here. The staff gets the food out quickly even if they are busy, which we really appreciate.
Ordered the hibachi beef vegetables and rice plate. Pay $12 plus a tip. I was the only person standing there with a order and then a pretty short time, they said, here’s my order, I said, thank you. I got all the way across town opened my meal to eat my late dinner, and discover that it’s shrimp, vegetables and rice, and I am allergic to seafood!I had the receipt in my pocket, and I began to call for 45 minutes. I rang their phone off the hook, and no one ever answered! The owner/manager can expect a call from me first thing in the morning when they open.

Ordered a teriyaki shrimp entree last night, right before they were closing. Half way into eating the meal I noticed the cabbage, broccoli, giant carrot slices were severely brownish/black. Initially, I thought the teriyaki sauce turned it this color because it didn’t taste burnt. I realized this wasn’t the case. The vegetables were old and wilted. I can’t believe they would serve me this. I just got over the stomach flu a month ago and now this. Having bad food poisoning symptoms. That was the last thing I ate in the last 24hrs.

I work at Valley View. This food made me soo sick the last time I ate it! The owners were very rude, refused to give a refund & turned their back to me while I was talking! Most people know to avoid Teppan.
