Bartender puts on a sophisticated show while promptly attending ALL customers. The food is consistently fabulous.
My sisters and I went out for a girls night during restaurant week. Initially, I was really irritated by the hostess Diana, she was very offputting. One of my sisters went to check the bar area and she went after her and told her to come back, which is crazy to me. We're not children. We know how to observe, look around and see if there are seats available and return to the hostess stand if we are unable to find a place. We almost walked out. She said there wasn't a table available for us and next thing you know here comes Macie (sp.?) to save the day. She was amazing!! She quickly said there's a table available here and pointed behind her. She was one of the best servers I've ever experienced in all of my years of dining out. She was knowledgeable. She was attentive. She was kind. She was personable and she was funny. Thanks to Macie we had the best start to our girls night out.
Went for Restaurant Week. Enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Shrimp perfectly cooked. Black eye pea fritters were unique and very tasty. Cookies with cream cheese icing were excellent. Wish the wine pairing had been available as advertised.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner consisting of steak frites at one of their busiest times -- Saturday night of Restaurant Week -- and the service was friendly and accommodating throughout. The staff above all is what keeps us coming back!
We had an excellent evening at Lucky. Surprised and delighted with the quantity and quality of the food choices for Restaurant Week.
We had a fantastic dinner with friends! Our server was warm, friendly and helpful. Loved the booth we were seated in and the choices for restaurant week! The bourbon cocktail with the cube was a table favorite!
Everyone was so hospitable and kind. Our server was lovely and genuinely kind. If I lived in the area, I would definitely return!
definitely try the lobster fries definitely worth it and also order the ny strip steak get it medium rare or to your choosing very tasty
We had a great meal, the best NY Strip I've ever had. The chicken was ok. The drinks were fantastic. Service was amazing. A perfect start for New Year
Slow to get food. 1 member of my party didn't like his vodka and oj. Said it tasted chalky. Plus side it was taken off the bill. I know it's an upscale restaurant but if you are serving fries with a $55 steak, regular ketchup should at least be available. Not everyone likes " kimchi ketchup".

Low was a great waiter, the trout was yummy. Small eclectic venue. Would definitely go back.
We had the most delicious dinner at lucky. Our server Lo was wonderful. Luckys was decorated so nice for Christmas it truly felt like such a special place.
Excellent food, service, and bar staff. Lucky has become our favorite restaurant in Roanoke. Their bartenders are excellent and very creative. Also, they have a great selection of liquors including rums. It's not common to find an establishment with a good selection of rums. Their waitstaff is excellent. Last night, Lo waited on us and he was stellar. Our meals were great from start to the finish.
Delightful experience - the cornbread was especially tasty! And the holiday cocktails were so fun
This is the best restaurant in Roanoke! Knew I had to go there for my birthday, and all was exceptional.
