The Cookie Store

I grew up in roanoke and loved going to this cookie store everytime I went to the mall. I moved and recently revisited the place and wanted to experience the amazing sugar cookies again with my boyfriend. There were 2 people there, a girl with glasses and an older guy who was helping us. They were originally talking and when I walked up they separated. The girl was staring me down and the guy was being impatient as we decide what we wanted. Keep in mind there was no one else there. He rushed us and was not helpful at all. I work in a mall in NC and everywhere in and out of that mall in Raleigh, I have never ever ever, in my year of working In a mall experience, have I ever encounted someone more rude than the guy working at this place. Completely and utterly tainted my love for this place. beyond disappointed. The cookies are amazing, but the service was disappointing.

Yum! You have to try the mint chocolate chip cookies! And of course my favorites are the frosted gourmet brownies.. out of this world!

You can smell the fresh baked cookies before you even get to the store! Delicious goodies all creatively decorated and smiling faces to greet you. Great customer service. Love supporting small business owners!

Used to work here in 2023 but got fired because the owner expected us to advertise like we are carnival employees by harassing customers.Don’t eat here, they keep food material in the back bathroom.

She would not sell me anything and told me she was closed and was mopping. I understand it was almost closing time but company was supposed to still be open for another 3 minutes and I just wanted to buy one cookie. I know it is just a cookie but it's more about the principal and I'm sure her boss wouldn't be cool with her turning someone down during supposed to be open hours.

Staff was unwilling to prepare a cookie cake and then was unwilling to sell a tin of cookies after the sign clearly displays that the tin of cookies can be made within an hour. Despite having serval good experiences at the this location, this experience was saddening as staff seemed highly unwilling to prepare fresh cookies.

LOVE this place!

Cookies were $3.50 for a small. The quality was so so. Kinda dry and gritty. Luckily it wasn't overly sweet. Staff was friendly ??

Had some best cookies and best cookies deals. If you past by defiantly stop.
