It appeared they may have been short staffed. We had a reservation for 6:00 and were seated immediately. There were people waiting for tables and there were several empty tables. Service was slow and people were complaining. The sandwiches were satisfactory, but nothing great. When in Roanoke again we will find another place to eat. There are a lot of other good choices.

#1 First of the exterior is dirty and dated the bench outside is literally falling apart. As you enter the door there is a foul odor that permeates throughout the restaurant. #2 the restaurant interior needs a deep cleaning. The dining experience we have a party of 8 for a birthday we were seated a waitress approached and as for our drink order at the same time we ordered appetizers. We received the soft drinks and water about 20 minutes later 10 minutes after that the Cocktails had arrived the guest tasted them and basically had no alcohol in them. I could not find the server and took the two cocktails to the bar where the bar tender never would acknowledge me standing the after 15 minutes, I decided it was not worth it. From the time we sat down and ordered drink and appetizers we waited 50 minutes for French fries and pretzels. Then she returned to take our dinner orders what mine was not edible. The brisket was disgusting the potato was old only thing edible was the salad. Out of a party of 8 no one had a decent meal after a $238.00. Its not the money mind you its just sad when you expect an edible meal and to be honest Sir it was not. I wish you would take you family there for dinner you would be as disgusted as we were. I honestly do not see how you stay in business at that location. I was served raw chicken wings at this location previously.

We Absolutely Love coming to Smokey Bones. It's Absolutely Amazing. We Love our waitress Daphne, she's AWESOME. Love her Bubbly, Fiery personality! She's the BOMB! She even took a picture with one of my sons ?

This was a first time visit for both my husband and me. When we walked in we expected a warm welcome and to be seated, but instead were left waiting for like 10 minutes before someone came to greet and seat us, and even though it was a Friday night, they were not very busy. The waiter was ok. The beef brisket was just ok...was a bit dry. My husband and I agreed that Mission BBQ's was way better.

Overpriced food I didn't get to even eat. I ordered a bbq platter, asked that the bread not be given to me as I am gluten sensitive. Got the food home, and there was bread beside and UNDER my bbq meat. The "loaded" potato only had cheese on it. Where were the rest of the toppings I paid for? First and last visit to Smokey Bones.

Ordered the smokey wings and they were burnt and fried hard, little no to no meat on them and don't remember asking for extra smokey, but they were smoked alright. Flavors were nice but i just wish this meal was edible. i wasted $34 for hair in one of my wings... what a joke. 10/10 wouldn't recommend.

Stopped at this restaurant on the way to Tennessee from Richmond, Va. They have lunch specials that are a good value. I had the Smokey wings and my wife had the BBQ pork special. Good food at a great price for lunch is hard to beat.

After a handful of orders, many missed items and overcooked wings each time, I cannot recommend it. No easy way to contact them about issues either.
Ordered thru Uber Eats and that was a poor customer service experience in itself. The Memphis dry rub wings were cold, dry and nasty. The buffalo hot were cold and dry, very little sauce on the wings also. Ordered extra ranch and utensils for both wings orders and didn't get either in the bag. I don't know if Tiffany, the Uber driver was late getting the wings or if the restaurant was at fault but it was not worth the $48.00 i paid thru UberEats.

We waited for our food for 50 minutes. When we finally asked to take it to go due to being in a hurry, we were treated like we were having a bad day. We weren’t having a bad day, and we treated everyone kindly. But 50 minutes to wait for food is a long time. Food mediocre. Will not be back.

Overcooked, Can tel they were frozen for a good bit of time before use, dry,dry,dry! The chicken not the sauce! The meat is literally hard and dry! And barely gave any sauce to go on them. Only thing I liked was the celery. Sad day I will never go back but I promise I will never forget

My clients suggested this restaurant. My lunch was really bad. Grilled Chicken Sandwich served on a bun soaked in water and grease. Apparently the brocolli was not drained sufficiently and the sandwich was laid on the same place. The . sandwich bun was soaked. The brocolli was very salty.

We stopped for a late lunch at Smokey Bones where we found a great meal. The pulled pork barbeque was delicious. I enjoyed baked potato and broccoli sides; my husband liked the fries and baked beans sides. Service was good. The restaurant was clean. We'll look to eat again next time we're in the area.
