Great tacos, ordered from brewery across the street and they delivered!

Recommend the Mexican Street Corn!

Our server was superb and made us feel like every decision was spot on. Atmosphere was fun and relaxed .. Our food was decent but not amazing. The loaded nachos were the best dish, big and generous in toppings. The tacos (we tried five types), were all ok but not amazing and the salad was mainly lettuce with a few additions.

I normally have a great experience here but I’m 8 months pregnant and just got a super raw chicken taco

Tuco’s never disappoints. I was there for dinner Saturday and the food was on point. Somehow, the leftovers heated up for Monday lunch were even better. We’ll be back soon!

Used to love Tucos and eat it all the time since I work close by. Since the remodel I’ve attempted to eat there 3 times and it’s been horrible. The website doesn’t work, the menu is very narrow and expensive and the servers look at my like I have the plague when I stand at the bar wanting to place a to go order. Please right the ship and make it good again.

It's mexican food in as much as they serve corn tortillas raw. Only plus is they deliver to big lick and golden cactus breweries and the salsa is ok. Food is overpriced and not good, but it will get you through your hungry stage.

If the food was better we would eat here weekly as we visit big lick weekly but sadly not the case. Given them multiple chances.

I've been going to tucos for several years now. Granted it's been about a year since my last visit. I wouldn't say things have gone down hill, I'd say an earthquake occurred and took everything good with it. It was the cafeteria of taco places. There was no flavor. There was no taste. It was just bland food covered in queso. Everything was precooked and prepped. When things come out within five minutes of ordering, there is a huge problem. The chicken in the hillbilly tacos was basically the same as the frozen fried chicken you'd buy in bags from kroger. I'm not ordering McDonald's. I don't even think I got McDonald's quality. The only good part was the drinks.

This place USED to have great food, pre-renovation. I had the most amazing birria tacos here before they renovated and I was excited to take my partner to try them when they reopened. Instead of birria tacos, we received tacos full of low-quality shaved beef and bell peppers- like a Philly cheesesteak but terrible. The service was slow and the whole vibe is weird now.
Not sure why they decided to nuke their menu and start serving low-quality fusion dishes after the renovation, but don’t waste you time and money paying $50 for some of the worst Mexican food in Roanoke. And whatever you do, don’t order the birria tacos unless you crave utter disappointment.

Cute little place to go sit down and have a relaxing time, especially outside in the patio. I had the coconut cocktail which was amazing! The menu is simple yet to the point where you are not lost with what to order. Love it! Definitely recommend this place!

We had been patiently waiting for Tuco’s to reopen after being closed for renovation. I used to rave about how good their food was, not to mention their fresh margaritas. However, after visiting this past Friday afternoon, I have to say I left disappointed. The food was good, but served cold. I ordered a shrimp bowl with beans and rice and my husband had two tacos; one chicken and one chorizo, also cold. The margaritas are no longer made fresh, there’s a container at the bar with premade margarita mix. They were ok, but nothing like before. I will say service was on point, but for $75 (including tip) it will be a while before we decide to give them another try. :-(
