Amazing food! Best Bánh mì in town. This is the only place I will order a sandwich with zero meat and really enjoy it. The French bread is always fresh and veggies as well. Pretty decent bowl of pho as well. The guy who runs it is super friendly, never seen him in the hundred plus times I've been here in the last 7 years without a huge grin on his face. Excellent place to get a bite.

Amazing fresh food and good prices! The high reviews did not disappoint. The outside seating is right next to the road so it’s a bit noisy but the food more than makes up for it. Great vegetarian options and a clean bathroom as well!

It’s hard to express the amount of joy I get from this restaurant. Vietsub has the most amazing food, I really can’t even shout out one item because it’s all so amazing. Everything is made with fresh, quality ingredients, and their baguettes are crispy yet soft on the inside. Easily the best restaurant in Roanoke, if not all of SWVA. The only downside is that they’re not open on weekends, which significantly decreases my Vietsub consumption, but I love their work/life balance.
Suggested order but anything is going to good: Traditional Bahn mi, fresh shrimp spring rolls, Vietnamese ice coffee.

Viet Sub has the best Bahn Mi I've ever had. I literally crave it, and luckily their prices are great, so I can afford to get one frequently! They are always packed for lunch- a great sign- but always greet you with a friendly smile. I love pho, but I've never gotten it from Viet Sub, because the sandwiches are so good!
