The food was delicious! Ordered 2 pho, 4 spring roll, pork bahn mi, and dumplings. All of my order was fresh, hot, and delicious! Not to mention my spring rolls were rolled perfect! The rice paper wasn’t hard in any spots, pork flavorful, great portion inside. The fish sauce was perfectly balanced. I love that it had some spice to it. I ordered from DoorDash and the reason I say the service because I called just to tell them about my order in general. And the person on the phone was very kind. The person did not rush me off the phone or anything of that nature and I appreciate that in general because I know they probably were busy. So I recommend this place five stars! And they DONT skimp on the meat in the pho!! I appreciate that

Great food, traditional and non-Americanized. Service is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend the bahn mi and pho.Not much seating room, but there is a small outdoor area for nice weather days. The establishment itself is a bit dated and could use some renovations but it surely doesn’t affect the taste of their delicious food. Maybe the best pho in town, and “The Best” Banh Mi is a MUST.We order take-out from here as well, everything is always fresh and well prepared. Prices are fair, best for a lunch time visit / early afternoon.**Does get busy in the evenings. Call and order ahead or be prepared to wait for take-out. Family owned Vietnamese restaurant in Roanoke area. The food is amazing, get the beast! It’s worth it, the sandwich is STUFFED with meat and fixings. It’s worth your buck, and the owners are super sweet. Definitely a spot I come to whenever I drive through the area!

Took the bearded one to lunch, best food we gave had in a good while. Highly recommend this little place. Super friendly, fast, excellent atmosphere. Spring rolls were fresh and spicy, pho was snooth and tasty. Superb way to start the anniversary weekend.

Viet Sub is a gem of gems. The freshest of food, speediest of service, and authentic kindness of the family-run restaurant is not only delicious, but heart-warming. I bring all of my out of town guests here and all I get are rave reviews.Be mindful that this is not a huge restaurant so you may not find a seat at some times. Takeout is always available and worth doing if you cannot find a seat. We LOVE Viet Sub.
