I used to go here and get hash brown bowls with 2 eggs. Easy over on the top all the way Mine is peppers, and they've never run more than $20 for 2. Well, today was an exception. They've come out now with a separate menu to go orders. They charge you more. They charge you 20% for to go containers and a bunch of hidden fees that you don't know nothing about. Until you look at your receipt and it's paid for I guarantee you that I will not ever go back to Waffle house again. They want to play games. I'm not a part of a game player.

I went 2 weeks ago after staying away because of some issues with take out ; everything was great . I always get hash brown bowls all the way with 2 eggs. On average we spend 20-25 $ for 2 bowls. 12/22/25 went back for breakfast bowls and they either changed them or didn't know what the menu's statement was about breakfast bowl. It wasn't good and know they package everything separately so they can charge for every little single thing that goes into. This hash brown breakfast bowl. There are several issues on receipt that don't make sense. 2.25 $ service charge , other 5.10$ then usual taxes. Hash brown breakfast. Bowl is definitely not worth $30.60 for too regular. I will not be back buying them there. And I refuse to pay $2.55 because I made a to go order. I have about 3 to 4 other restaurants. That serve breakfast around me and I will be using them instead.

I always love going to Waffle house and understand when it is busy, I may have to wait. I respect their employees as they have to take orders, clean tables, wash the dishes and help with carry out orders but also man the register. It is a lot of work and I respect their labor. Marine was sweet and kind and I tipped her for all her kind service. Its a great and busy spot, loved it and excellent staff.

I understand the job can be tough, especially when the restaurant is busy, but there’s no excuse for not checking orders before serving customers.
We placed two orders with two drinks: • Cheese Steak & Cheese Eggs Breakfast with hash browns • Two Eggs Breakfast with hash browns, bacon, and a bowl of grits
What we received was unacceptable. The first plate came out with burnt steak and eggs, missing toast and hash browns. After waiting another 10–15 minutes, the hash browns finally came—but still no toast.
The second order came with a bowl of grits, burnt toast, and hash browns, but the bacon was completely missing.
This shows poor attention to detail and lack of care. If the staff took a few extra seconds to review each order before serving, these mistakes wouldn’t happen. Very disappointing experience

We recently visited Roanoke over the weekend and we stopped by here twice because of the wonderful service we got from Ms. Brandi. Besides the food being good and fresh, we felt her service was top notch and with her welcoming attitude. We literally came back the next day just to be served by Ms. Brandi again. The next time we are back in Roanoke, we’ll definitely visit this store and hopefully we’ll get to see her again.
Stopped in for smothered covered and chucked and a waffle. Next thing i know i was in a knock down dragged out fight . Don't remember anything from 2:15-2:35 in process got a girlfriend and a blackeye. But the waitress said that i held my own.

The staff were SO NICE. I can say this with confidence when I say that this place has the nicest staff ever. We were the only family in the restaurant and they took a brief 6 minutes to make all 3 meals. The food was amazing. If you want cheap, good quality, amazing food, this is the place to go. Will definitely come back.
