We had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, the experience fell short from the moment we walked in. After being seated, we sat for over 10 minutes without being greeted, offered menus, or acknowledged in any way—meanwhile, multiple tables around us were greeted and served promptly.
It was uncomfortable and confusing to feel completely overlooked while others were being taken care of. We eventually decided to leave, and as we were walking out, one of the staff members hit us with a sarcastic “Thanks for coming,” which felt more like mockery than hospitality.
Safe to say we won’t be returning. Disappointing service from start to finish.

I haven't eaten a meal here yet, but the place is always full around lunchtime. I can say that the carrot cake is about the best I've ever had in my life! That and the crowds I've seen there tells me that the food has got to be of better than average quality. The people working there have always greeted me with a smile and have been very energetic and helpful also.

Evie's has become THE place for us when we come to Roanoke! Wonderful food (breads are outta this world!), the variety of lovely drinks and personal service that makes you smile cemented this decision. Plus, we got a Coconut Cake there also- the BEST!!!!

The food is delicious and reasonablypriced. I had the Tuna Asian Salad and the Lemon Bar for dessert. Would definitely order again! Hubby had The Italian and Carrot Cake. He loved it.
We had a party of 12, and they were able to accommodate easily.
The pies and cakes are beyond amazing.
