Very interesting restaurant. Great menu. Nice atmosphere in what was originally a neighborhood grocery store (probably back in the 1940's or so. We didn't have the pastries but they looked delicious. Get away from the chain restaurants and give Evie's a try.

Don't be fooled by 4.5 stars. That was the previous owner. Since the change the restaurant has gone downhill significantly. The food quality has suffered and while once it was OK to pay a premium for the quality, it's just not there any longer, particularly in the cakes. Maybe the owner should focus more on running the business and not making profanity laced political posts. I won't be back.

Food is great. Desserts are amazing. But the service has started lacking considerably. Went in for dinner. Were immediately greeted and given waters and told we had to wait for our server to order cocktails. Waited ten minutes for Kachina who was talking with other staff to get our drink order. Waited another ten after she brought our drinks before she came back to get food order. Felt like we were interrupting social hour. Seems to be a recurring theme. Very disappointing from a small business that used to make their customers a priority. Miss Megan and Amanda.

Every menu item we have tried has been excellent. We have been several times now and are never disappointed. Meatloaf, burgers, eggplant sandwich can't go wrong. Making are way through the cakes and again does not disappoint. Has become one of our favorite spots

I ordered a sheet cake for 35 people in November for pick up December 5th at 3pm and paid for it in advance for my work holiday party. All week snow had been forecasted but I had heard nothing from Evies so I felt confident they would be there for pickup at 3pm. We received a light dusting but roads were clear by 11am, Evies scheduled opening time. When I arrived at 3pm nobody was there. Evies had closed for weather and did not feel the need to reach out to their customers who had scheduled pick ups. I called and left a voicemail but heard nothing. The holiday party continued as planned without a cake. When I showed up in person the 6th I was met with “sorry everyone was snowed in”. Not a single person in the store took any responsibility. Nobody was willing to say, “we should have taken the initiative to coordinate alternate pick up times”. I was offered to take the cake, which I no longer needed as the party still went on, or receive a refund. Being a 26 year old girl I have no need for a cake for 35 outside of this one holiday party so I chose a refund. I reached back out to Evies and asked the manager Amelia if Evies would be interested in making this situation right by providing a smaller cake that serves 5-6 for the nurses present at work today and they said there was nothing to make right. I had already received a refund and things were right and that, “Everyone missed pickups and we lost money that day”. I think receiving a refund for a product/service that I did not receive is actually the bare minimum. It doesn’t go very far towards making things right and I think anyone that’s been in management should know that. I’m sure the cake would’ve been fantastic if we had received it. I guess I’ll never know because I’ll never be back here. Poor management and leadership leads to closed doors.

We had preordered and paid for a cake. It was for a holiday work party on a Friday. When I arrived to pick up the cake, the store was closed due to inclement weather. No communication was left on voicemail, no call received to update me, no signage on the door. Ultimately, left with no cake for a planned event along with no communication leaves me to rate my experience as "1 star". I did receive a refund after returning to Evie's in person. "1 star" for not offering to compensate the customer for their lack of preparedness and service. The manger Amelia's response was that "we lost money that day". A higher star rating would be received for a business approach that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
Can't go here and not get cake. They have so many options.

Awful experience. The food and service was wonderful., Alyssa was so sweet to us. But none of that outweighs the unprofessional behavior of the owner. A grown woman throwing a tantrum aimed at a guest who was quietly sitting at the bar, is hardly someone who should be running a business. Emotional regulation is a vital part of adult life and should be learned by the time you hit your 30s.
Although Evie’s food has always been good in the past, an October visit to Evie’s by my family revealed that Evie’s seems to have lost focus on their primary mission of providing good food and service. Instead they are now very prominently promoting an anti-ICE opinion via signage. I do not care and do not want to know what Evie’s owner’s and management’s political opinions are. I do not go to restaurants to see political propaganda. Going out to eat with family or friends should be about enjoying good food and time together. It should never subject the patrons to political opinions. Keep that to yourselves and not on display. I have patronized Evie’s many times in the past and have recommended them to others numerous times, as I am sure many others have also, likely resulting in additional business for them and subsequently additional recommendations that has furthered Evie’s success. However I will no longer go there or recommend them. Evie’s has every right to make foolish business decisions such as promoting a certain political opinion however by doing so they are discouraging large numbers of their customers who simply want good food and service without a side order of “us vs. them” mentality and political propaganda.
Great food and service!
