I have celiac disease and avoided this place for over a year in spite of their clever marketing, thinking a bakery surely couldn’t accommodate me. I WAS SO WRONG! While their GF desserts are limited their cafe menu has LOTS of gluten free and vegetarian options and the staff are trained and knowledgeable on celiac needs. Absolutely love Evie’s! It’s one of Roanoke’s hidden gems that has been around for decades! Their cakes and bakery goods are always made to perfection and their diverse food menu has a plate for everyone. Their staff is also always welcoming and friendly.
