MILITARY FRIENDLY RESTAURANT (MFR). They were recommended to us by several veterans and we found out why. To start with they offer a 20% military discount. (That's right a twenty percent discount)! The staff and management treated us with dignity and respect, they went above and beyond what other restaurants had to offer as far as service. The food was cooked fresh, not reheated and soggy. Great atmosphere, clean and updated, and great selections on their menu. My only displeasure with them is their surge in prices. They have easily gone up 25-30%. For example, today a friend & I ordered two lunch specials and got two sweet teas. When I got the check, they charged me $6.30. How is it that they want to that ridiculous amount; yet I can go down the hill and get it fir $1.29. I brought it to the waiters attention, and luckily he in the manager took it off the bill....read full review

Really trying my best not to lose faith in El Rio. The Henry location was already off my list of go to’s and it’s not even 5 minutes from me. Too many issues.What’s really breaking my heart though is I come to the Rocky Mount location about a week or so ago, it was the middle of a Saturday at about 12ish (lunch), there was MAYBE 4 people in the restaurant.
