Little country store located on forty west. At the edge of Rocky Mount headed toward Ferrum. Gas prices are average. There is lottery, tobacco, and beer available here. They no longer have a deli. The lady at the counter said they haven't served food there in about 2 years.

The ladies and gentleman who work at 40 West are very polite and kind. They are always cheerful and upbeat. I enjoy coming in here even thou I suffer from social anxiety I have no issue interacting with these kind human beings. They all have excellent customer service skills. Thank you for that.

This place has a $4 minimum for card purchases. This is 2025, many people do not use cash these days and most places are cashless. My $3 would be purchase won't hurt them but I definitely will pass this place every time.
