We visited Ippy's on a late night dinner run. I try to stick to a rule to not visit a restaurant in the last hour of service but I wasn't aware of their closing time, and the hostess said it would be no problem to seat and serve us. With the young lady being so accommodating we took her offer. We have been going to Ippy's 40+ years. The food has always been great Jodi and Tommy are the best our food has been excellent. We usually ask for table next to fireplace it adds so much to our dining. We are from Martinsville and enjoy the drive to Ippy's where you know when you get there the anticipation is worth the 35 minute drive. Keep up the good work the Shelia Petite is so tender you can almost cot it with your fork. Thanks for a wonderful birthday!
This was a friend and my first time in Rocky Mount and we were staying at a hotel across the parking lot from Ippys. Between the ladies at the front desk saying that it was good and not wanting fast food, we walked over to eat. We sat in the bar area and the bartender/server was nice.
