Passing through town and stopped here for lunch. Ask for FERNANDO who is the ONLY reason they are getting 5 stars and not a 1. He was not even my server but VERY attentive and upon my request remade my drink (Michelada). Ordered steak tacos (traditional way) and they were very good. Other servers should pay attention and learn from him. Fernando “Thank you” for turning our experience around.

Jose’s in Rocky Mount is mostly good.. I recently started visiting here when I’m in the area. Both of my initial visits were outstanding!! The Enchiladas Mexicanas and Enchiladas Supreme were absolutely delicious! The service WAS excellent.. The only issue was my most recent visit I brought 3 kiddos with me. One of them ordered a pizza and fries. The pizza had black crap on the bottom, and her fries were cold. The server rolled their eyes and acted like we were overreacting when I returned it. “Just scrape it off, it’s not a big deal,” they said. Believe me buddy, if we point it out to you, it’s a big deal. I have a slightly negative impression after that pizza encounter. You should treat kids food with the utmost care..

Great place to stop off for pretty much any adult beverage you want or to take family and friends out for an awesome meal. Staff are very friendly and down to earth, even the owner rolls up his sleeves and helps out!!

Ordered 9 meals to go. Got half a bag of chips with 1 salsa and 1 white sauce. Also ordered a house guac and still no additional chips. The birria tacos were nasty. The especial la casa wasn’t beef tips, it was steak strips on a tortilla with barely any cheese sauce. Very disappointing for a $114 order.

Overall quite well, though i got quite sick after eating and threw up for around 10 hours straight-
Jose’s is the best! I’ve been there when there were just a few customers and I’be been there when the entire place was packed! Each and every time the service was top notch and the food is amazing! Great lunch menu for an even better price. We’ll be back again soon!

Santa and I stopped by on December 20 with our friend the Grinch. The staff and customers were polite and friendly. The food was fresh and well prepared. Santa and I were very happy with the portion size of our food and it was very tasty. We want to thank you for allowing us to relax after a long day. Because Mrs. Claus was too tired to cook and clean. Thank you and Santa and I will be back for many more tasty meals. 🎅🤶🎄💗
