I had to come to Rocky Mount for an errand, and usually don't make it down there very often, but now that I've found this place, it is worth going out of my way to eat here.During my meal it came to me what makes this place better than even the best chain restaurant that serves brisket and ribs - the owner of this place has shaken hands with the person who butchered the meat, and probably even the farmer who raised the animal. Delicious BBQ with friendly service and clean restrooms. We had ribs, baked beans and a BBQ bowl (Mac n cheese, pulled pork, cole slaw topped with hush puppies). Everything was tasty and the portions were large. We ended up taking home ha all of each of the entrees.
