Delicious BBQ with friendly service and clean restrooms. We had ribs, baked beans and a BBQ bowl (Mac n cheese, pulled pork, cole slaw topped with hush puppies). Everything was tasty and the portions were large. We ended up taking home ha all of each of the entrees.

Service was a bit slow and likely needed more help. Tables are very close together almost like eating with someone you didn't know. Food was mediocre. Had pulled pork that came with sauce already in it, meat was mushy and little taste. I prefer pork where I can add sauce to my liking and more seasoned.

The food is very good, with the ribs and pulled pork outstanding. The brisket was good, just not as good as the others. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly.

I had to come to Rocky Mount for an errand, and usually don't make it down there very often, but now that I've found this place, it is worth going out of my way to eat here.During my meal it came to me what makes this place better than even the best chain restaurant that serves brisket and ribs - the owner of this place has shaken hands with the person who butchered the meat, and probably even the farmer who raised the animal. You can taste the difference in the freshness and quality of the meat, which is then smoked to perfection.As someone who usually isn't a fan of slaw, I was truly pleasantly surprised at the option of hushpuppies instead. I chose Mac and Cheese as my side, and while not as good as my Grandma's, it is exceptional compared to most I've had at a restaurant. Then I also had to try the Brunswick Stew, which was probably the best I've had. As most are far too tomato-y, theirs is almost perfect, the only problem being the cup size was nowhere near enough.My wife enjoyed her burger and fries as well, and we liked the BBQ sauce so much we had to buy a bottle.The staff was exceptionally friendly and I hope we get to see them again soon.

First time here and it was really delicious!!! Will be back! I even took home a extra plate for dinner? They forgot to put tarter sauce or hot sauce in the bag with my fish try? So it was hard to eat the fish, but the seasoning was really good, so I didn't need any condiments after all!

This has to be hands down the best experience that I’ve had in a long time! Service was bang on, and Colby (I may have this wrong) the owners son made it his mission to make me feel like a local. There was a young lady working that I didn’t catch her name but she was amazing as well. I’m personally not a vinegar based fan, but I was given a sampling of their blackberry and apple sauces and I have to say, I’m a fan!! Also they have their own variety of “Alabama style” sauce they call white lightning and it is awesome!! This is definitely a place I will be returning and looking forward to each visit. I live about 3 hours away but I’ll definitely be finding a way to make an excuse to come here after I’m not passing through on a regular basis!!
