Great find in Rocky Mount. I had the Monday lunch special with smoked turkey (there are several mains to chose from), real mashed potatoes, and pinto beans. For my bread option I selected the hush puppies and so glad that I did....they were amazing! Portions were generous, which was a nice bonus. Service was a little slow but think that was due to them being short-staffed (it was also a holiday). If I lived closer I would be a frequent guest!
The waitress was very rude. There was a lot of us there, but she was disrespectful and we ended up asking for a different server, because the first one was so rude. Some of the people got their food right away, while others had to ask for their food. It was a bad experience , won't go back
Rocky Mount Smokehouse catered a wedding at our venue, The Barn at Back Creek Farm. I cannot speak highly enough of Buddy and Josh. The food and service was amazing! Hope to work with them again in the future!
