The brisket was smoked to perfection, tender, juicy, incredibly flavorful, and packed with that rich, smoky taste you’d hope for. The baked beans were phenomenal without a doubt the best I’ve ever had. If you’re passing through the area, this is a must-stop destination....
Very good. Despite the mixed reviews about the brisket, the brisket my husband and I had was very tender. Mac and cheese, cole slaw and beans were excellent. Very nice Bartender as well. Highly recommend this place
Great find in Rocky Mount. I had the Monday lunch special with smoked turkey (there are several mains to chose from), real mashed potatoes, and pinto beans. For my bread option I selected the hush puppies and so glad that I did....they were amazing! Portions were generous, which was a nice bonus. Service was a little slow but think that was due to them being short-staffed (it was also a holiday). If I lived closer I would be a frequent guest!
