We saw the signs for this winery from the highway in our way to Maryland and decided to stop for a tasting. We are so glad we did! Not only do they have delicious blackberry and apple pie moonshine made with real fruit and not artificial flavors but they also had an EXCELLENT lunch recommendation. We weren't sure where we were going to eat so we asked if there was anything good around and the gentleman helping with our tasting suggested the Dutch Amish store up the street....
This winery was one of the most memorable ones that I visited on my first winery vacation way back in 2017. Time flies! I didn't think about writing reviews back then because...I don't know.
I remember the impressive drive up the hill to the Tasting room and the view looking west once you got up there. I had a great wine tasting, and if I'm not mistaken, they had just begun distilling vodka back then.

I noticed the Winery sign from the interstate Exit 54 south from Virginia to Knoxville. It had been a challenging day, but the Gentleman at the Winery/Distillery made my visit worth wild. Very knowledgeable Gentleman and my purchases were excellent. Thank you again for your kindness. I must add that the Gentleman gave me excellent directions to the Steak House as well.
