Overall, this is a fantastic local restaurant. The freshly made dishes are bursting with flavor, and the food truly hits the mark. It's a counter service spot with a small but clean dining area, which adds to its charm. I ordered the chicken fajitas, and they were absolutely perfect – the seasoning was spot-on, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm in the area. Good stuff!!
Stopped here first time for a quick meal 9/19/24 and was pleasantly surprised. It is a small establishment and I sat outside at the one table available for outdoor seating. The service was great and I tried the three crispy shell taco dinner getting three choices I do not typically get. I moved here from CA and I've been looking for a Mexican restaurant that can give me a taste of home. Diablos Tacos and Tamales is so good I forgot I was in Virginia for a second. Honestly, there's no point in going to another Mexican restaurant in Salem or Roanoke. I won't be going anywhere else anymore. This is the best one.
