This has to have been one of worst experiences at Jersey Lilly's. The host was rude. The food was served cold. I have Celiac's disease and was gluten bombed. I was sick afterwards for a couple of days. That will be our last visit there.Dietary restrictions: The waitress we had was not careful. I was gluten bombed. I had eaten here before and had been safe. This time care was not taken and I can no longer trust them.

One of the toughest ribeye steaks I have ever gnawed through. Wasn't even offered rolls.

While visiting the area I stopped in for lunch. I was helped by Ms. Patricia who was very friendly. I ordered the marinated ribeye meal with potato soup and a side salad. My salad came out first within 5 mins. The meal came about 15 minutes after ordering. The salad with homemade ranch was delicious. The lettuce was fresh and crisp. The potato soup was good, thick and creamy, and it gave a nice cheese pull. Now the steak was the absolute star of the show! It was cooked to a perfect medium and cut through like butter! The steak marinade had a slight sweet taste to it and was well seasoned. I tried it with both heinz 57 and A1 but it honestly tasted perfectly fine without both.

My wife got the coconut shrimp. I got the 14oz ribeye and we shared so we had great steak and shrimp. Salad nice and cold. Beer in a cold mug. Waitress didn't hoover over us but we had everything when we needed it. Things are slipping a little, food quality and service, not what it was a year ago. Still not bad but I have taken away one star.

The reason I am giving this restaurant a one star is because of the cleanliness. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. The toilets halfway work. I would take a picture and post it of the bathrooms but I don’t want to make anyone sick.Another reason is the last time I went in to the restaurant to eat When you open the door, you had the smell of dead animal just hit you in the nostrils. I immediately knew what it was and turned around and walked out.. I could not even eat lunch that day. Before I walked out, I noticed people in there having lunch, which I could not fathom.I just cannot bring myself to Eat in there anymoreThis would be a great restaurant, if they would do a little cleaning and remodeling

This place needs to be completely wiped down!!! Sticky tables... yuck. Thre food has changed & is awful. We were seated for 12 minutes before our waitress came over. She didn't seem ok & smelled of smoke & something else. We had to ask for our check bc we sat there so long it was aggravating. When we went up to ask the guy if we could pay, he was too busy drawing on a napkin with people everywhere!!!!! We will not be going back. Jersey Lilly's isn't the same.

In summary: Do not expect any good service or good manners from staff. Staff is poorly managed, poorly organized, and down right disrespectful. Waitress that is presenting female, white, and maybe in late 30's early 40's needs to be retrained on customer service and sit in time out I guess for acting like such a child.I haven't done a review for yelp in quite some time. So now that I'm back, know it's a problem."Abby" (Patricia on the receipt) had the nastiest manners when first coming to our table. No introduction, straws tossed onto the table, no "excuse me" when placing plates on the table, just absolutely a terrible first red flag. Because the drink I want is unavailable, I ask her to come back to me at the end so I can have time to decide. She walked out of our room (we were sat off in the cut behind a wall. No wonder she kept easily forgetting about us) without getting my drink order. Proceeded to bring back drinks (10 minutes later) and then have us wait to ORDER for another 12 minutes.By the end of our meal, my team (a group of 10+ 1 parent) had experienced the worst service possible. Orders came out incorrectly, food was cold while plates were hot, and to top it off....Abby/Patricia decided it be best to argue with a customer about an itemized receipt that is NEEDED for our university to keep track of our budget. If she would have asked "how can my service be better" instead of "why did I receive no tip", I would've MAYBE given her money out of my own pocket.Instead when we RETURNED to get the itemized receipt, she had someone else give it to us and then harassed us as we were leaving. All because no tip? Or because she doesn't know how nasty she is? I'd would love to disclose our wonderful conversation after her first holler of harassment in front of the entire restaurant.Lastly, a big middle finger to Abby/Patricia who didn't have a manager, boss, corporate number, or the person that signs their paychecks available.P.S it's Abby/Patricia because I asked for their name and the response is Abby. But Patricia is on the receipt.

The amount of good reviews is a bit baffling, but I suppose my wife and I were the only ones in the restaurant who appeared to be under the age of 50+. We heard so many recommendations we decided to give this place a shot on our anniversary. Walking in to what looked like a run down Outback was a bit shocking but we thought that surely the food would make up for it. Sadly we were wrong. The rolls served before you order were pretty tasteless which is surprising because how do you mess up rolls? Only went downhill from there. We both ordered filet mignon with baked potatoes, I got the chili and wife got the salad. The salad was nothing to write home about, but the chili was worse than Hormel. It tasted like tomato soup with some beans thrown in. The baked potatoes were ice cold in the middle with a little cheese melted on top, like they had been stored in a freezer and then heated up for a minute in a microwave. The steaks were an even bigger disappointment considering the asking price. I've had a lot of filet mignon in my life, it is my favorite cut of steak. What arrived however looked like a sirloin that someone had taken a lawn mower to it. Random bits tasted like burnt lighter fluid. Best I can say is they at least got the temp right, med rare. We would've said something to our waitress but only saw her when we ordered, and when we got the check, so no refills. By that point we were just tired, bored, and ready to go home. We don't get to eat out a lot since becoming parents, so this was a bummer of a wasted trip trying somewhere new, and we definitely won't be coming back.
