This restaurant is fantastic. The food is delicious, perfectly cooked and with unexpectedly fantastic presentation. Much better than I expect from a diner. The staff are helpful and friendly, and seem to enjoy being here. Very clean too. Atmosphere was friendly and neighborly. There are cute little signs here and there that give character without being kitschy. The dessert case looks amazing too, but unfortunately I was too full on my visit to try any of the pastries!

Wandered in in search of some breakfast and was pleasantly greeted by the counter staff. Whole reading through the menu, saw a couple of plates come out and was sold.I’ll definitely be back.

Best Thanksgiving meal ever. My family of 6 adults and 4 kids enjoyed the turkey breast feast and had leftovers for several days. Each item was delicious. Picky children were satisfied. Apple and mixed berry pies were pronounced best in class! Heat up was easy with very clear instructions.Ordering and pick up was a breeze. Such pleasant people and an amazing value.I added a blueberry strudel and pumpkin loaf to carry us through several days of deserts; so yummy. We are fortunate to have such a fine source of French and American cuisine conveniently located in Salem. They can cook my Thanksgiving dinner every year from now on.

The food was not made to my tastes. The bread was over toasted and brought out cold. The eggs were garnished with parsley (thank gods I'm not allergic to it), but were still flavorless: the bacon was cold, It was very homey and comfortable. The whole decor reminded me of stepping into an old breakfast diner, including the feel-good music from the 80s playing. Bf thought it was fantastic.
I went in for a coffee this morning and the gal was so nice that I went ahead and bought something to eat also. Did I mention the coffee was good?That's the important part to me. The coffee here was delicious!!

I had high hopes for this place. Service took forever, no one told us that we had to get our own coffee! My omelette had literally 2 chunks of ham in the entire thing!! No checkbacks or refills. Bread was not good at all. The staff acted harried and pissed. I’ll never be back !
