It's 5am man, no one wants to be out that early but hey we all gotta make a living. If the website says 5am, I'm expecting to be able to get a drink by 5:20, if the hours aren't the same update your hours, dog. Nothing worse than looking forward to some sort of hot caffeinated beverage in being let down but still having to go to work at 5:30 in the morning

Just stopped as we were passing through; this had always been a good cup of coffee just off I-81, but not tonight.
I ordered a peppermint mocha…my favorite drink. There was so much peppermint, it was sickening. I hate to ask for a remake and rarely do it, but I did tonight. My second drink was worse than the first. It had so much milk, it tasted like ice cream. Couldn’t taste coffee, chocolate, or peppermint. I wouldn’t ask again so I just left.
As for the customer service, there was no apologies and they didn’t ask me to try the second one to see if it was ok.
So I won’t be stopping there any more.
But, in fairness, the guy that took my order was great!

Recently noted that everyone in both Salem stores seems to be constantly miserable. Any time you have an issue, the standard response is "Call corporate". I see Starbucks ousted their CEO today....so maybe some future attitude improvement?!

Since renovating the place is super comforting, welcoming and cozy inside. The people are always having a good time laughing and joking with each other but still putting customers first. Starbucks ANYWHERE lately has been making me feel nauseous (food and drink) so I haven't been going much, but the workers are super friendly and I love seeing them have a good time here.

6-10-2024 Starbucks has made amends ? and increased rating. Thank you for eventually making it right!5-22-2024 Employees appeared overworked and stress. I ordered a hot drink and received iced. When I asked for a hot drink it was apparently too much...so if starbucks messes up on a drink it is on your dime!Previous: Yum! Friendly staff :)

I had went to this Starbucks a few times on and off when I pass through and never had an issue but ever since they remodeled I’m not sure what happened. I went a few weeks ago and got a drink (caramel ribbon crunch creme based because I can’t have caffeine) and it tasted like straight up chemicals. I tried a few sips and had my partner try it just in case I was crazy. We called after we left and were told they would put us on remake list for another time. Fast forward to yesterday, went back by to get the drink remade and it tasted exactly the same. Like chemicals. I have gone to many many Starbucks all throughout the area and this is the only one that’s tasted like I’m drinking a chemical. It’s strange and I will not be back! They didn’t have explanation as to why it tasted weird.

I go to Starbucks everywhere and we travel a lot. This one - no greeting. I ordered Grande coffee, received and paid for Venti but didn't notice until it was handed to me. No apology. I got upset. If the barista had simply said "I apologize for the mistake" all would have been fine. Those in the customer service industry should learn that simple phrase. But the coffee was good even though I through out a third of it.

Love the interior of this starbucks, but the drive-thru is also pretty quick even on the May Fridays when drinks are half off in the afternoon.
