Ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and a lemonade. I ask for a little mayo and mustard but when I got home, mayo and mustard has completely saturated the bun. The hamburger patties themselves had a strange texture and flavor. It was basically inedible. The lemonade was obviously a mix like Country Time lemonade and just poured it out. Opened in the middle of the pandemic, this little sandwich and treat shop is an unexpected find. Friendly staff and owners, excellent use of limited interior space, a lovely patio, dog-friendly, and a variety of menu items and drinks that aim to serve all tastes. We had BLT's and the homemade apple cinnamon cake...and it was wonderful. One may not know at first just passing by The Lily Pad is a hidden gem in the historic town of Saltville VA. It may seem to be a smaller place but don't be fooled it is overflowing with great foods and drinks! The owner and staff are awesome people always greeting you with warmth and great energy. I was happy to see how clean it is kept which is an important part of any food service establishment. They are also pet friendly and WONT leave your fur babies sadly hoping for...
