We went here for dinner, based on the description here, turned around and walked out. It is not a restaurant, it’s the hotel’s breakfast room with a bar. The so-called “bistro menu “ started with a blt and declined from there. If you’re hungry Lafferty 9 it is a solution, but it’s not a restaurant.

I ate here with a group and served buffet style. We all found all the food served to be very salty. It looked very good, so very disappointing.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and despite its proximity to the airport, is very quiet inside and out. The room I had was impeccably clean, comfortable, with everything in sound working order. The room furnishings were great, and I really liked the bedside connectively, including conventional power outlets and USB ports on both sides of the bed. I did place an order at the Bistro, the in-house restaurant. And the food I ordered was excellent. The location is nice enough, and within walking distances to several restaurants. However, the only parking lot entrances are the two street sides ones off of Williamsburg Road, and there isn't one that is off the road that leads to a couple other hotels. It would be nice if there was. It's just a minor quibble though. As for the hotel staff, they were courteous and helpful. Overall, I was impressed with the hotel, and can see myself staying here again in the future.

This property is quite old and in serious need of a remodel. The toilet is so old it ithe seat was yellow with age. Furniture was scratched up. Overall it was nasty. I stayed here to catch an early flight. Was not worth the points I used. I am finding many Marriott properties are like this now. Time to look at another chain

When I got here they didn’t have the room I booked. Called for towels they said they only give one towel very disappointed in my stay. I will not be coming back. Just stayed at the one in Virginia Beach the stay was so much better

Lobby was a little loud, but the bartender was awesome in the evening. Very friendly and great drinks.

So this in general as courtyards go is a very typical Courtyard . Location is great . I mean literally 2 minutes maybe 3 from airport. 24 hour on demand shuttle service . But I gave them a 5 because of the people . Very nice , very social , very welcoming. They had a special rate that came with a welcome gift . They figured it out and got it taken care. No rush. They were very patient and accommodating. I would highly recommend this location and these people .

I would like to thank Ms.Washington the general manager & her staff for the amazing work they are doing everyday @the Courtyard Hotel . I met with the assistant manager Ms.Crystal, Mr.Bernard, & Mr. Sty yesterday evening when my son & I arrived @the Courtyard hotel & Mr.Gerald & Mr.Harry this morning. They kindly welcomed us; they are so humble, professional, respectful, courteous, compassionate, helpful, hard workers & efficient. Thank you so much for the great restaurant & shuttle services opportunity for customers as Mr.Gerald & Mr.Sty kindly gave us a ride when we needed. We stayed for a night as we had to continue to another state in the U.S. Furthermore, the hotel is very clean, I saw someone spraying & cleaning surfaces immediately after use. The art sculptures makes it very beautiful with diversity inclusion. They are all very friendly, pleasant caring & made our stay a great experience. Thank you so much for everything they did, we greatly appreciate it! GOD Blessings?

I am sure that the Courtyard was much nicer when it opened, it certainly is showing it’s wear and tear. If money is not going to be spent on upkeep of the rooms, upgrade the coffee, or towels, or lower the rates. In addition to the wear, the hotel will not make up the rooms daily which just adds to an experience that makes me wish I had stayed elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and find a better place to stay.

First of all, it's not a terrible hotel. Staff is nice, the rooms are nice, and its clean. However, ANY coffee drinker knows the first thing they want upon waking is fresh good coffee. I woke up hungry and wanted my coffee, so when I went down to the lobby looking for where they kept the coffee. The only coffee you can get you have to buy from their bistro. I don't know anyone that wants to stand in line for a dang cup of coffee 2 minutes after they wake. I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for a person to serve me. Nothing. I went back to the desk and they said she was in the back and would be available shortly. I continued to wait and became very agitated. So I went behind their counter and was going to serve myself. I could not figure out where to get the coffee from. So then I went into their staff kitchen (twice) to find them so I could have a cup of coffee. I yelled out for anyone and No one was back there! I finally gave up and went back to my room and drank the nasty room coffee and had to go without eating breakfast because you have to buy it and wait for staff that seem to not exist. These bistros getting put into the hotels are to make more money and that's whatever, but you now have an obligation to "serve." And coffee is extremely important you'd better be on your game. Now I feel like when I book I will always avoid places like this because this incident ruined my day. Lastly, their staff smoke cigarettes right outside the door making the entire lower level smell like a bar. Get your COFFEE together people!

This room was dirty and uncomfortable. I am used to clean and comfortable Courtyards. I know this is an airport hotel, which can be not as nice, but still. The mattress was just on a mattress frame, which sunk down in the middle. There wasn’t a headboard, only two white (and yellow stained) pad things that sat at the head of the bed. The sheets were all pilled and the comforter was VERY stained yellow. The sheets at least smelled clean. I’m very disappointed that I spent $180 for one night where I only slept for 75 minutes TOTAL because I could hear the people in the next room and I just felt dirty.

This Courtyard Hotel is very close to the RIC Airport. Waffle House, Burger King, Arbys within walking distance. Bistro inside hotel with limited breakfast and dining options. On site ATM. Indoor Pool was closed for repairs. Room was new and clean with a big comfortable bed.

Decided to try this place for a late dinner at the hotel and it is good. Tried a burger meal, one of their chicken avocado wraps. All were very delicious.

We stayed one night, perfect! Shuttle took us to the airport at 6am for our flight the next morning. Left the car parked at the Marriott, no extra charge for parking! Arrived back at airport a few days later, called for the shuttle and here it came, just that quickly . . . its about a 6ish minute drive. We checked in at 8:30pm; our room was clean, beds comfortable, check-in quick --- that's about all you need for a one night stay.
