This place wouldn’t be in business if it weren’t located right next to a hotel and airport. It serves mediocre Tex mex but isn’t consistent at all. Two in my party served grilled steak, one was ok but the other was dryer than the Sahara despite specifically asking to be on the rarer side, and didn’t come with all of the ingredients in the Taco Salad, specifically the cheese and sour cream that stops it from being _as_ dry. It also came with a single chunk of tomato, so it was just a bed of lettuce and some rubber. Spoiler Alert: It didn’t save the dog food they’d made of the steak in the salad. The magnanimous manager decided to haggle instead of doing the right thing and comping the dish that had clearly only had a couple of bites taken from it, instead giving a small discount without even coming to our table where we would have been more than willing to share a bite of it to prove it. If you can’t do something as simple as a Taco Salad you have no business being a Mexican restaurant. If you have to stay at the hotel next to this place, eat before getting there or go over to Wawa, they serve better Mexican food than this place.

Finally got my husband to come here and try their food. He felt like he was cheating on his regular place so resisted for a while. But he was happy he did! He was very impressed. Loved everything he ate and was disappointed he couldn't eat more! Will be back!

Had the special, Chori Steak, and it was fantastic! Cooked well, and everything was tasty. House salsa was great and two kinds of El Yucateco hot sauce on every table. Will keep in mind for this area of Richmond (airport area). Delicious!

My and sister and I visited this restaurant yesterday. I drove all the way from Virginia Beach to go again because my last experience was so awesome. When we would ask the server questions about certain meals on the menu due to allergies he couldn't really explain but assured us that he understood our request. Low and behold when the food arrived it was all wrong. Granted, we explained that we were unhappy and he never asked to fix the problem, so we really tried to eat it, but it was horrible. We asked to speak with the manager. He comes over and gave the impression as tho he was disregarding what we were saying. Basically ignoring us fake listening. Bottom line is...the service sucked and we will NEVER be back. We will be sure to let others know about our service. It's a shame because our first experience was so awesome!
