Staff were very friendly and this was the best seafood I’ve had in a very long time… doesn’t get better than Capt E’s!!

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE... That a bar closes at 8pm on a Saturday night. There are so few good adult-oriented hang outs on the eastern shore.

I had the bang bang shrimp and hubby had the flounder. Both were very good as well as the sides.

Crabby burger was very tasty. Nice sunny day heated the black barrel seats. Extremely ?. Bring a jacket or blanket to cover the seat so you can set down at the table. Please replace those barrel seats

An oasis during a motorcycle ride in a downpour. What a score. These people do not know a stranger. Very welcoming. Treated us like we were locals. We had the scallop tray, turnip greens, peas and dumplings and 2 desserts. (Not our norm, but fitted the occasion) All the food was delicious and exceptionaly prepared with fresh ingredients. The vibe was very "tiki hut on Vaca" and right on the water. Looks like they had a variety of fun blender drinks and a full bar, but went out of their way to warm us up with hot tea. What a great experience. We hope to return on purpose next time. Thank y'all! The Eastern Shore has it going on for hospitality.

AMAZING crab! All of the reviews are spot on, best crab cake I’ve had. Oysters were great too! Ms. Sue is the sweetest woman on the island!

Our favorite dining spot when in Saxis. Sure we could go to Chincoteague for dinner...but why when we can get it all here. And...everything is absolutely delicious!

The service was great. You have got to try the seafood skins. AMAZING!
Kind of got eeked out when our table ordered water, and received plastic water bottles that unsealed ? go for drinks and the tiki bar - but food was just ok.
Dietary restrictions: Not many gluten free options. Everything only came fried, could not get a broiled or baked option for fish or soft shell crab.

Three out of four of us liked the food, I was the exception. The pulled pork looked great as did the crabby fries. The ribs were extremely hard to separate and the brisket was more like a fatty roast beef. Also a bit pricey for the quantity served in my opinion. This is a local hole in the wall. The servers were very welcoming and the cook comes out to ask if you liked everything. Really a warm welcome to the place.
