This place is off the hook, thanks for showing my out of town older brother a good time. He said it was the most fun he had while here with the best food. Above that Joy fed us 2 hrs before opening time cause we were salt covered and whipped from making the water trip from Onancock. I wish this place was in Onancock !
We decided on Mother’s Day to visit Saxis for the first time and stopped by to eat, we didn’t have a reservation but they accommodated us anyway (even with a baby in a stroller) and were so welcoming! Every single thing we ordered was amazing. Steamed shrimp- cooked to perfection. Fried oysters (I don’t even like oysters) - 10/10. Pulled pork fries- should have gotten a large order instead of a small. Mixed drinks - on point. Our waitress - awesome. The owner- so personable...
