I know you’re probably checking reviews to see how the food is. I can sum that up quickly by saying 10 out of 10, but Capt E’s is such a special place beyond just the food and drinks. The first time we came here it was just for drinks. We sat outside at the tiki bar and had the best time. The bar was full of locals. The patrons and staff were so friendly that we just ended up having a blast hanging out and drinking. The next time we were in the area, we decided...

First time visitors to Saxis and Captain E’s. A local at the Saxis museum recommended it. Be sure to have gas in the car, local told me gas station is 13 miles away. I sat at the bar and Joy the owner was having lunch at the bar, very friendly, funny and smart lady!
I ordered shrimp, clams, and oysters, all delicious. Few businesses in Saxis. Plenty of parking in private lot and street.
Captain E’s had a food truck open when I visited. I shall return!...

This place is off the hook, thanks for showing my out of town older brother a good time. He said it was the most fun he had while here with the best food. Above that Joy fed us 2 hrs before opening time cause we were salt covered and whipped from making the water trip from Onancock. I wish this place was in Onancock !
