Restaurant was charming and rustic. A typical local small town place with absolutely charming and friendly staff and customers (prob local residents of the small island community). Food was outstanding-- little bit of a wait but I didnt care. I enjoyed the atmosphere and scenery. I know you’re probably checking reviews to see how the food is. I can sum that up quickly by saying 10 out of 10, but Capt E’s is such a special place beyond just the food and drinks. The first time we came here it was just for drinks. We sat outside at the tiki bar and had the best time. The bar was full of locals. First time visitors to Saxis and Captain E’s. A local at the Saxis museum recommended it. Be sure to have gas in the car, local told me gas station is 13 miles away. I sat at the bar and Joy the owner was having lunch at the bar, very friendly, funny and smart lady!
