Stayed at Tall Pines and was looking for some breakfast. This was closer than Dunkin Donuts. Took a long time to get our food but that’s because Martha has a lot going on and doesn’t have much help. Still, it gave us time to enjoy the water and commercial fishing scenery, and conversation.Had peanut butter pancakes and bacon. Huge pancakes with lots of peanut butter. Prices are probably too low for the quantity and quality of food. Tipped her heavy and I suggest you do the same.Don’t come here if you are in a rush. Glad I came and I think you will be too if you know what to expect beforehand.

We had two excellent meals here. Visit Martha’s for a ‘taste’ of Saxis. The soft shell crab, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich was phenomenal!

Like visiting your grandmother and having her cook up something wonderful for you! A drive over to Martha's is well worth the ride, call first to see that she is open. I had the soft crab sandwich and my wife had the crab cake. The crab cake was good but the soft crab stole the show. It consisted of at least 6 medium to hotel sized crabs wet battered and deep fried. I thought it like soft crab popcorn. It was very good.Martha was great to talk to and we had a great time. You need to try this if your in the area. A nice easy drive from Chincoteague.

If you want really good breakfast this is it. The soft crab platter is also awesome. The soft crab, egg and cheese sandwich is heavenly. It is a little out of the way but well worth it. Right on the water.

What a great little treasure! The Western Omelette was huge and so full of wonder fresh ingredients! The prices are incredibly reasonable, and Martha could not have been more friendly and welcoming! Felt like my mom was cooking for us! We’ll definitely be back!

Definitely a small hometown restaurant. Martha is friendly and personable. My soft crab sandwich wouldn't even begin to fit on my hamburger bun. But that is perfectly okay with me. At $15 this amazing sandwich was under priced
