Just Amazing, menu items and specials. Planned on getting some snacks and sandwiches for the boat and launched , then we picked up our order onthe boat, dockside carryout . Some of those needed products for outdoor activities and other things we forgot.Dietary restrictions: The pizza man is allergic to seafood.So no worries about letting them know.Parking: Boat mooring 10 feet from the door in a protect area , park and watch local waterman boats . Or car park 50 yards away at the public pier .Kid-friendliness: It's a family oriented community.Kid safe sun protection and drinks for outdoor activities .Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for the power mobility and walkers etc..

This restaurant lives up to the five-star reviews. My brother and I made the trip to Saxis today and it was well worth it! We were promptly greeted when we walked in the door. The restaurant is reminiscent of a 1950s diner and is very clean. The food is made right in front of you and is fresh. We watched the owner hand-stretch pizza dough to order while we sat at the bar. Our orders of two crab cake sandwiches were taken with a smile and arrived in only a few minutes even though they were very busy. The crab cakes contained a lot of crab and were tasty and the crispy fries had the perfect amount of salt. I ordered a cheesesteak sub to take home for my husband. He was very happy since it was full of meat and toppings and not greasy at all. I am excited to go back and try more of the food at Sunset Cafe and Convenience, especially the pizza. This is the place to go if you want reasonably priced delicious food served by very welcoming people!

My kids loved the giant chicken strips and fries and I enjoyed my salad. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. The locals are friendly and sociable. Wonderful visit to a lovely little island.Dietary restrictions: Being able to talk with the owners to choose my food to avoid gluten contamination was wonderful!*they use peanut oil and have one fryer. The fries do look amazing and my family loved them.
