Amazing spot just before the bridge in Scottsville. A go to for sweet treats in the area. They make a cream filled chocolate cupcake that takes me back to childhood. Cupcakes change daily and when they are out…they are out. Everyone there provides amazing customer service and greets you with a small. They have done some custom orders for us in the past and are very accommodating. Grab some cupcakes and wander the town. Scottsville is a hidden gem.
As both a longtime customer and proud cousin of the owner, I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy Baked on the James creations for years, from birthday cakes and holiday desserts to cupcakes and seasonal treats. While I may be a little biased, I continue to order from her because the products are genuinely exceptional. Time and time again, I’m impressed not only by how delicious everything is, but by the creativity, attention to detail, and genuine passion behind every item.

Stopped here for a breakfast pastry and was not disappointed with the cinnamon roll! Very well balanced, and a perfect pairing with a coffee.
Also, huge shout-out to Devonte. He was so welcoming and happy, and I could tell he was passionate about everything they had to offer. A true gem of Scottsville!
