Southern cooking at its finest stopped in for lunch and was greeted before I could get in the door. There's nothing on the menu that I wouldn't get food is beyond good. It may be a little hole in the wall but it was amazing will come back again.
If you want down home southern cooking, then Hale's is the place you want to go.My favorite breakfast there is sausage gravy with biscuits! Sticks to your ribs.My favorite lunch is a big bowl of pinto beans, topped with raw onions with 2 cornbread muffins on the side. Nice people at this diner. It was busy when I got there, with most all tables filled. She got some good coffee for me pretty quick and an excellent sausage gravy biscuit!I'll agree with the other poster that mentioned this gravy. It was the best I've had in a long time!
