“Was in the area with my wife, and we stopped this amazing little place. It was about a hour before closing, so we ordered simple and easy. The staff were amazing. The vibe of the place is old school history but also the feeling like one gets at Cheers. People come here all the time, the diner is a staple of this town. The food was amazing. My wife had the hotdog with coleslaw which she pointed out the slaw was the best she had. I got the reuben and boy I was in for a treat. I have held the 1 spot for reuben from a place in Jersey, and this one here took the 1 spot. The cook made it so perfect that I wanted to get another one but I will save it for the next time we come through again. Simple put this kind of place that shows good food, great staff and town vibe is so much better then the fancy costly places they put around my area of Charlottesville. Thank you C&S diner.“
