What a gem of a restaurant this turned out to be! The service was fantastic, the food was delicious (as well as ridiculously inexpensive), and the firefighting themed decor and artwork made it feel like the local landmark that it certainly is.
Great food, reasonable prices, friendly service, generous portions. We ate here 4 times over the last 4 days staying in town over a long weekend and enjoyed it every time! Their breakfast is great, we had a western omlette and pancakes and they did not disappoint! For dinner we had the country fried steak one night and meatloaf the other, both were very good. Their mac and cheese is possibly the best I've had at a restaurant. We will 100% be coming back to this little gem!
Great place to eat. Me and my wife travel 3 hours to eat here and to spend time in the mountains.
This is a great place for a hearty breakfast. Fast and friendly service. Veterans discount.
The wait staff was very kind and attentive. That’s where both stars came from. Sadly the fold was so bad and most of it was served cold. The restaurant itself was dark and the utensils were dirty. We love small town diners but this was is a hard pass for our next visit.
Amazing food, the service couldn't be better! Ashlyn was so kind and an amazing waitress!!
We stopped by Rudy’s Diner for brunch on April 6 and had such a great experience! The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. I had a waffle with eggs and bacon—everything was fresh, tasty, and just what I was craving. Cozy spot with great service and good food. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
Solid place for lunch
Loved every single thing I ordered. Best biscuit I've ever had.
Good food and very friendly service. A nice local spot.

We ordered crab cakes with mashed potatos and green beans as sides. It was very disappointing as the crab cakes tasted like stuffing and had more onion than crab in that. Also, the green beans tasted like it came straight from the can 🫤, and french fries were soggy, it seemed smushed as well, like it was seating there for a while before serving. Unfortunataly the only thing we really enjoyed eating was the pulled pork with mac&cheese sub, yet, very greasy.
The waiter was very friendly :)
Salmon cake was delicious. Grits made me miss my mom's. Hot dog was out of this world and very juicy. Friendly service.
Good food , and you get plate of delicious food
Had meatloaf dinner with mashed oitatoes abd corn. Best meatloaf i have h ad in a long time. Friendly staff. Decorated with fire dept memorabilia
Ordered some takeout lastnight and I’ve gotta say everything was delicious and HOT and it appears they make and patty their own crab cakes! Oysters were cooked to perfection! I give it a 10/10!
