Anna's Ristorante Pasta, Vino & Pizza

I had high hopes for this place with all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, this food is just bad. The tomato sauce tastes like the metal from its can, the scampi is just oil and garlic, and the chicken is flavorless. How do you make worse food than Pasta House?

Maybe their chef was new? Maybe this is just how their food is? Who knows? This food was bad and I’m not coming back. That’s for sure.

This is one of my wife's all-time favorite restaurants. As soon as you walk in, it feels like returning home and your stress melts away. We've never had a bad dish here - but our favorite is the tiramisu.

I'm very disappointed. My wife and I drove an hour away to come here. It was our favorite Italian restaurant. We were there last Saturday, and the food was horrible. I got the Italian sampler, it was watery and had no taste. My wife got the pesto penne. No flavor at all. The waitress said they had a new cook. You can tell. I will not make that drive again.

We love to frequent mom and pop's and have been here several times. My husband loves the calzones. The rest is so-so. The meatballs seem to made with some sort of geletin. We do not recommend those.

Took my husband to Anna’s for his birthday. We have not eaten here in years. Now I remember why. The food, although good, was not great. Our waitress was pleasant but clearly overworked. We got served about 20 minutes after a table of six came in and ordered their food after we did. My husband originally wanted dessert, but we left without ordering desserts because we thought it would take way too long since the waitress never brought The dessert menu.
When I went to the ladies room, the door into the restroom area was completely covered with sticky. It was really gross. I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon.

I had the difficult task of planning a party from another state. We were having a gathering and I was in need of food for 30 people. I came upon Anna’s and I could not have been more pleased. I worked along with Vincent the owner and he made everything perfect. The food was amazing and everyone could not stop talking about it. Thank you Vincent and the staff at Anna’s for really making this special.

I have only had food from Anna's about three times when I have been in the Smithfield area visiting relatives. On my most recent visit, I had linguine and clam sauce. Absolutely fabulous! You must love clams, fresh, and lots of garlic.My family members ordered the special Smithfield Pizza. Very light on sauce and all manner of delicious meats according to them. Including entire slices of bacon!One very happy family after dining at Anna's!

Had to wait to long for food. Couple that we where with got their food and we had to wait on ours. Server forgot fried that was ordered.got them at the end of our meal.
