Best BBQ I have had the privilege of having on this side of the James River bridge. They dont skimp out on portion sizes and for the money its definitely a deal-especially in this economy. My wife, daughter and I grazed for under $70 and still had food to take home, and we all can eat. Highly recommend the brisket and the pulled pork. From the owner saying hello to us and staying a few minutes to chat, to the fantastic brisket and homemade sides, this is a place I'll continue to frequent when I'm in the mood for a hearty meal.
If you are looking at this place do yourself a favor and drive over now. Best BBQ in Hampton Roads that I have found (Dave's a close second) and absolutely worth the drive even if you are over in VB. Brisket is the standout, and the mac and cheese also holds it's own very well. Very friendly atmosphere as well honestly a 10/10 restaurant experience, can't wait to come back.
