I had a fantastic experience at Smithfield Gourmet Bakery. The service was excellent, our servers were friendly, attentive, and really made the visit enjoyable. The food was delicious. I ordered the club sandwich. It was huge!! My husband got a piece of chocolate meringue pie. Rich and decadent. We were passing through, but it was definitely a place that I would stop at again.
Very nice place to stop for a bite to eat. The staff was attentive and the table was clean. Just wanted something simple, so it was the biscuits and sausage gravy. The biscuits were light and fluffy and the tasty gravy made it almost melt in your mouth. This was a very good meal. The house cut fries were average, not really crispy, and lightly seasoned. Overall good experience and good food.
