We love Beck's! Daughter is renovating an ancestral home in Halifax and Beck's is our place to go for food and drinks. Let's start with the food. We've worked our way through the menu from appetizers to desserts. Chicken wings are excellent, nachos are delicious, sandwiches, oh yes (rib eye was delicious). The steamed jumbo shrimp platter with Old Bay was Maryland worthy (we're from Maryland, we know). Never had a bad steak at Beck's. The cocktails...
Visiting from North Carolina, I had two options: this place or Apple Bees. I’m glad I chose this one. The nachos were incredible, and my entree, which included popcorn shrimp, fries, and macaroni and cheese, was equally delicious. The portion size was generous, and I didn’t find myself disappointed at all. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or staying in the area.
Always have a fresh, tasty meal when dining at Beck’s! Fantastic food, cooked to your liking, and with excellent service and a great crowd! Been going there for a long time and I still find different things and combinations to try on the menu. I love that!
