This is a beautiful Bistro with a classy vibe. The food is served at a slower pace so you can enjoy it and it is delicious. I highly recommend the Tuna App, it is so good and the Ribeye melts in your mouth. Everything I've had here has been amazing.

We visited Bistro 1888 for the first time tonight but it will definitely NOT be our last visit! Let me start by saying that due to COVID; there weren't many patrons in the restaurant and there was only one server who also worked as the bartender. It did take a while for her to initially serve us but we didn't mind since we were on a date night and definitely not in a rush. Well, everything was well worth the wait!!! Honestly, once she was finally able to get to our table; everything moved along at a nice pace. We had the shrimp cocktail appetizer, salmon entree, scallops entree, and dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection! I can't remember the last time I ate scallops that were not overcooked!!! And, someone else mentioned that their menu is overpriced. Apparently, that person doesn't regularly buy organic food for their family. Their price points are totally in line with what you would expect in a very nice restaurant like Bistro 1888.Bistro 1888 is FABULOUS! We can't wait to go back.

Superior service and wonderful food. I contacted them about my husband he had all his teeth pulled and couldn’t wear his dentures. He was so hungry and tired of eating pudding so I asked about the soup. They prepared his soup special without any big lumps of meat and made him a special creme brûlée. He was so happy and said the food was delicious

All I can say is WOW! Every bite was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and Pan seared Tuna appetizer (by far the best and I highly recommend) for starters. Ribeye for dinner, which was cooked to perfection and the best steak I've ever had and Cheesecake for dessert. It was the best meal I've had in 20 years. The Tuna is amazing, the steak melts in your mouth and the cheesecake was the perfect end to a beautiful experience. Thank you Bistro 1888. Can't wait for round 2!

An excellent dining experience, always, and a wonderful outlet for gourmet meats and seafood during the quarantine.

Your Chicken Saltimbocca is my favorite chicken dish! It is consistently tender and flavorful. Thank you so very much for making it for us tonight even though it wasn’t on your take-out menu.

Very good restaurant and dining experiences. The tuna appetizer is absolutely wonderful and I always enjoy the tempura seafood. Cocktails are good too, though I would really enjoy more of a menu of specialty or seasonal cocktails. Great place.

Great service and the food was really good. It did take a little longer than expected and the potatoes were cold.

On Valentine's 2017 my husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary dinner at this incredible restaurant. The food was wonderful and the service was outstanding - as if we were the only guests there. We tried to repeat that experience on Valentine's 2020. As soon as we walked in the door, we could feel there was something wrong. We stood there waiting to be acknowledged for 10 - 15 min while watching the staff run around like their heads we cut off. They were rushing from the kitchen to fill an order for a take-out customer and ignoring the ones that had reservations. The entire vibe of the restaurant was different and unsettling. After we we were finally seated we had two employees checking on us. The drinks and appetizer came quickly but it was another hour waiting for the salad. Before we could finish it, the main course arrived. In total, 1.5 hrs waiting for dinner. We understand holidays can be hectic for restaurants, but something had clearly changed. The food was just OK. The price was not justified. We had dinner the following night at Outback and the food and service was better.

There is no doubt that the food is first class, in fact it was the best restaurant meal we have had in a while. It had been more than 10 years since we had been at Bistro 1888 and within minutes, I was reminded why we did not return for so long. I really want to give this place a 5-star review but the noise level was unbearable. The place is small which is fine, there is a separating wall between the bar and restaurant, but it is only about 5 foot tall so all the noise from the bar spills over to the dining area. A loud, intoxicated, and obnoxious bar guest made the evening unpleasant for everybody. Certainly this is not the owners' fault but after more than 10 years they could have installed some glass panes on top of the separating wall to reduce the noise pollution. Some fabric or noise dampening material on the ceilings would also help with the echo. Fantastic food, great service but a ruined experience. My spouse left with a headache and other guests were also dissatisfied. Too bad...
