Berry Hill Property and Tavern atmosphere is very nice, cozy, and clean. Service was initially attentive and fell off very quickly during our time there. Water not not refilled once in an hour+ nor did waitress check up on us really at all. We were a party of 5, most got salads, and ticket time was around 40 mins which is pretty slow.I got the pan roasted chicken which was $21 roughly and it was literally the size of a single wing with two bites of meat surrounding, not even exaggerating. I would estimate it was 3 ounces of meat max which is nuts for $20+. It was $2 worth of meat. Covering it was a goopy, thick strange cream sauce described as a citrus glaze or sauce. The steamed broccoli and fries (likely frozen) were fine and similar to something I could throw in the air fryer myself.Not much competition around this area and the property is awesome, I just think there needs to be a little more effort put into the creativity, food quality, and service. Either that or remove some of the items and focus solely on pub fare (burgers, wings, etc).

Great bar and restaurant at Berry Hill Resort. I have come here for many years and Darby’s Tavern is at the top of their game. The bar staff is the best ever with Kristen, Jamie, Selena and Dallas (yes I have been here a week already). The food is tops as well. No need to leave the property if you stay at Berry Hill!!

We were in the area and looking for a good place for lunch and as always Yelp did not let me down. Upon arriving we thought we put in the wrong address to GPS as it is located on an absolutely gorgeous estate - it's called Berry Hill Resort. It was in the middle of the afternoon - and there was a large function happening at the resort but they were very welcoming upon arrival. Darby's is its own restaurant/pub/bar - with an extensive menu and reasonably priced. Food was very good, service was great - we will be back for sure!

Everything on the menu is outstanding! I recommend the Pan Roast Chicken and the Marinated Ribeye! The bar tenders make the visit fun!

The food here was amazing! We had a party of 8 and everyone commented on how great the food was. This place is a hidden jewel. I wish our town had a restaurant like this. The fried pickles were wonderfully breaded/fried, the club sandwich (lots of meat), and my daughter loved the pretzel bites. My husband said the burger was great! You can’t go wrong here, the food is authentic. If we had a longer stay I would have wanted to try more items on the menu. If you stay at the Berry Hill Resort, it’s steps away from your hotel room :).

First and last time I will be eating there.Pros- Food was delicious.Cons- $15 Shrimp Po Bo had 4 pieces of shrimp on it. Also the $10 jalapeño poppers had only 4. That’s annoying. But it’s just that kind of place.But the one thing I can’t forgive is the one and a half hour wait for our food to come. Which the waitress blamed on another table that had spent $400. Not sure what she was saying there. Our measly $140 bill for the table was inferior to theirs? So our service wasn’t going to be as good?Or was she blaming the other table for them being slow? Maybe that made the kitchen slow. But what was her excuse for not checking in on us?TLDR: Food tasted good. But terrible service mixed with underwhelming portion sizes and then adding in an excruciating wait time equaled one of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. Absolutely terrible.

From the ambiance to the service, it was very enjoyable. I was spending the night at the Berry Hill Resort and walked to dinner. The portions were large and the food was incredible. Loved the fireplace!
