As usual, a little wait for the food due to staffing issues. The food though was delicious. The brisket sandwich and sweet potato fries are out of this world!! The wait staff are extremely nice and attentive.
I've traveled most of the country and definitely all of the eastern half and this is a jewel, you can't just give it one night or one stay. I know the staff because I stayed for six months. We all have bad days but I love this place and I love the staff. I will be back. A must see for any and everyone
We were staying down the road at Wilde Manor and decided to head over to Darby's Tavern for lunch—and it was incredible! The historic, relaxed atmosphere inside the old estate kitchens is so cool, and the food was top-tier Southern comfort. It is absolutely a great place to eat if you're staying at Wilde Manor and want a fantastic meal with a great selection of craft beers. We will definitely be back!
