Four Oaks catered our wedding and did a wonderful job at a very reasonable price. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments from our guests. The service was equally impressive with everything running smoothly and the staff being friendly and professional. We could not be happier with how it all turned out. Highly recommend them for any event!

Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the salad bar was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting.

A party of 4, everything was excellent, soup cr e am of tomato, salad bar, 4 different dinners, all was happy with our selections. Service was great as well. We were seated immediately, waitress was attentive and dinner was served just as we finished with salads. We have come here several times and very satisfied, and plan to return.

Service was good, but the experience fell short. My Cajun pasta bowl took nearly 50 minutes to arrive (with the majority of the tables empty), with no check-ins from the wait staff during the wait. When it finally did, the chicken was severely overcooked, the pasta was mushy, and the dish had no Cajun flavor whatsoever.

Beyond the food, the restaurant's cleanliness was disappointing—the carpet was filthy, and looking down the hall toward the kitchen, things didn’t seem much better. A return visit is unlikely.

It is not often that I get to leave a 5 star. Review for a restaurant and it pleases me very much that I was able to do so for this place.
Everything about this restaurant was absolutely perfect. Britneywas our waitress, and she was so personable, polite and very good at her job.
The food was absolutely perfect and cooked perfectly. I personally had The stuffed shrimp, and it was so tasty and just delicious. My wife had fried scallops and definitely enjoyed them very much. We will definitely be returning to this place numerous times while we're in the area

Food was truly delicious ... a nice amount with leftovers to take home, staff was friendly, our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. Spup and Salad bar was nicely filled with plenty to choose from and replenished often ... we ordered mixed Grill (med rare steak was perfect chicken was moist shrimp was awesome I am nearly drooling as I type) with a side of smashed potatoes and an extra side of steamed broccoli... fried oysters with a side of steamed brocoli ... chicken tenders with a side of mac n cheese (moist crispy tender chicken and extra cheesy mac n cheese with both gooey and toasty browned spots perfect!) ... big serving of tomato basil pasta was beautiful and delicious ... and breadsticks were a nice soft airy bite even though our main dishes were already so good we had forgotten them til the last minute. Highly recommend the ppace! (dress attire is somewhat debatable as it is absolutely not a fast food joint ... we all had on jeans t-shirts (teens too, so ripped jeans and literal tshirts ... and just off work clothes lol ... been months ago in hoodies and jeans late night after work ... but others were more nicely dressed with collared button ups ...dresses... suit n tie ... not sure I have ever really seen a lot of younger kids there (ours were 14 and 16 ... probably wouldn't take a rambunctious flock of noisy toddlers or colicky newborn baby as it is a more sit down sorta fancy ... utensil using ... calm music playing ...don't talk loud or run around kinda "peaceful" restaurant) ... Date Night approved... business lunch ... formal gathering ... prom dinner ... they have a room (maybe 2) you can reserve for a larger gathering also ... we did birthday party and babyshower before and kids were noisy and able to move in that isolated part.... still not run around and be free and wild though ... not saying don't take kids just saying it'd probably feel like you're on a quiet airplane and people are staring and shaking their heads lol (hope that makes sense) awesome place ...great food ...go try it for yourself if you don't believe me. (Yes those 3 dots everywhere ... make up for all of the grammar flaws and lack of proper punctuation and probably many typos ... this is all just my personal opinion so not getting paid or I might have edited lol) ... think my daughter has a table pic I will try to update later with the pic if so

Stopped for dinner on Thursday 5/2/24. The place was not overly busy. It took at least 40 minutes for the entries to be served. Discussed with the server and the problem was with the kitchen staff. This was not acceptable. I would not return.

The crab cakes were very good, the stuffed shrimp not so much. The shrimp were very small with little stuffing. As you can see on photo, the shrimp were embarrassingly small, especially for $20.00. The calamari was perfect, not chewy at all, good breading. Salad bar was pretty good as well as as the soup. Give it a try, but stay away from the shrimp.

I am a visitor to South Boston Virginia from Memphis Tennessee. I was not impressed with the food or the service. One of the members of our party was served under cooked catfish. I admit my ribeye was cooked to order, but overly fatty and under seasoned. I did try my wife's salmon and it was well prepared if uninspired... The salad and soup bar was a positive experience. Everything from that station was fresh, well laid out and tasty. The waitress did not write anything down for a party of 8 and came back later to confirm an order she forgot. The outside signage for the restaurant is not currently present. Luckily Google is awesome and told me where to go so I did find the restaurant no thank to ownership.Once again I expected much better from what is considered one of the best restaurants in South Boston Virginia.
