The interior and backyard seating areas are attractive, with a clean-cut "good old boy" ambiance. Friendly staff provide great service, and the restaurant is conveniently located between Richmond and Durham, making it a great stop for travelers. Customers enjoy the atmosphere, which is kid-friendly during the afternoons, and the restaurant is accessible, although the ramp is quite steep.
Guests have praised the Giardino sandwich as one of the best, even better than those found in New Orleans.
