Been eating Wilsons since 1980 - never disappointed
Service "time-to-wait" varies
Visit 9/17/2023 - got the small BBQ plate served in less than 15 min - not bad for a 'regular' restaurant!
Also, the PORTIONS are LARGE - typicall take home 1/2 of the BBQ from the 'small" plate size. For 12 bucks - it's a good deal.

We visited Wilson’s while attending our Memorial Day Family Reunion in South Hill. There were 20 members in our party. Only one waitress was on duty but she was outstanding. She was not at all frustrated but patiently and pleasantly took our orders. The food was superb, especially the blackberry cobbler. I certainly plan to make it my place to eat whenever I’m in town.
