I absolutely love Wilson's Barbecue! I don’t live in the area, but every single time I travel through South Hill, stopping here is a non-negotiable. I always make sure to pick up a quart of their barbecue, a pint of coleslaw, and a bottle of their incredible barbecue sauce to take back home. A colleague and I were traveling to a conference when we discovered this restaurant. We were impressed that the restaurant featured BBQ. Our server was very attentive and provide excellent customer service. However, I was disappointed with the food presentation and taste. I ordered the BBQ sandwich and onion rings. Best hamburger steak! Mashed potatoes with gravy just right! Not often will a restaurant give you homemade rolls and hush puppies. Waitress very professional and friendly. My friend had oysters, best she had in along time! Live about 100 miles from this restaurant, if I ever get the chance I WILL patronize again!
