Had a wonderful experience at the south riding location. The bartender there, Leah was awesome. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and her service was top notch. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends.

I got a 10 piece Honey Garlic with fries and a drink. Every component of this meal was absolute horrible.
First, the sauce: It was like the frozen aisle chinese food that tastes like sugar and cornstarch. It was thick like glue and made the wings very soggy.
Second, the chicken: If you told me these were boiled in water I would believe you. These were dry and not an ounce of love or seasoning was present throughout. Bland on top of bland.
Third, the fries: Like a cold version if McDonald’s fries without that signature taste and NO SALT!! They were either hard as a rock or soggy and limp. How did they achieve both…?
Fourth, the drink: Watered down, flat coke zero with way too much ice in only a 12 ounce cup. (My man got it for me so that could’ve been his fault)
0/10, ZERO OUT OF TEN. $21.20 and i couldnt even finish it it was so bad. I’m not a picky eater, but I am pregnant and was really looking forward to this meal. I now feel slightly ill and very upset that I just spent the most I’ve ever spent on wings at the most mediocre wing establishment I’ve ever patronized. Y’all will never see me again.

Our server Juan was fantastic! He was very attentive brought us everything we need in a timely manner and with a smile! Make sure you order the southwest egg rolls, they’re to die for!!!

The food was really delicious very kind servers who will ensure you’re all good and go above and beyond super nice to talk to. Each booth has a tv which is really fun and nice for those who like to watch and each at the same time. The prices and deals are nice for those who are on a budget and want some yummy food and drinks I’m pretty sure there’s deals almost all weekend which is awesome I definitely reccomend if you’re in the area

The prices are perfect. Lots of deals practically all week and happy hour prices are cheap if you want to go save some money and have a few drinks and some good food!

Restaurantji Recommends
This review is specifically of our experience today…and our continued experiences over the years. We’ve been long time patrons of this Velocity Wings location (since 2015)! Today, we had excellent service with server Addy. She was so sweet and very attentive, checking in with us often and bringing anything we requested right away. The food was delicious as usual. And our interaction with the manager was pleasant and kind as always after he delivered one of our drinks to our table!
We love love love their smothered fries! Best cheese fries around. We usually order our wings plain and extra crispy and get the sauces on the side and they always make it well in the kitchen. Our daughter tried the kids sliders tonight and loved them.
The only cons…we miss some of our favorites from the menu as it’s changed over the years. Mostly the salads and sandwiches that aren’t there anymore. Wish they would bring them back!!
The kids always love having the screens at the table…ESPN on repeat!

The nachos grande i used to get from velocity wings was delicious. It had fresh meat, beans, guacamole, sour cream, with hot melted cheese. But the last two times I went the food has been absolutely disgusting. They now add raw onions, even though onions are not listed in the description on the menu, the cheese was old and not melted, there was hardly any meat or beans on the chips, and the meat you could see looked literally like dog poop. Furthermore, the chips were stale. Looks like the restaurant is under new management and it shows. This is the second time that the food is absolutely disgusting, and I will not be returning. You're actually better off going to Taco Bell and getting their nachos grande, even if it is fast food. That's how nasty velocity wings is now.

We love the grilled wings and love coming to this location. Addy has been an amazing server and any time we come back in the future we are definitely asking for a table in her section.
