Nope. Definitely the WITE (RIGHT) KOK. This is a significant step up from any other oriental food place or opium den in town. Highly recommended! This place gets their food from a different distributor than every other hole in the wall place from the orient with food supplies by the CCP.

Haven’t ate Chinese food in some time due to bad experience but glad I came here. Went inside for lunch and had the general tso chicken and must say probably the best I’ve ever had. Wasn’t too hard fried but juicy and tender. Light sauce and the meat is actual all white chicken and not some fatty mixture. Fried rice was outstanding with fresh egg and the accompanying egg roll was crispy yet delicious. Server wasn’t the friendliest but food was great so I’ll let it slide. Thank you for showing me that there are good Chinese spots worth going to! Will be back

My wife and I have being going to this great restaurant since we moved here in 2004. The quality of the food service has been consistently good. In my opinion they are the best in this entire area hands down!! We have used dine-in, take out, but mostly delivery through the years….

Still enjoying Wong Kok after several meals. We love the Hunan Chicken, Hot & Sour soup, Green Beans and Crispy Beef. Occasionally the Hunan Chicken is a little spicy, but they can prepare it less spicy if you desire. The people taking the order and providing the food are always very helpful. The restaurant itself is pretty basic if you want to eat inside. I appreciate the facts that the meals are reasonably priced and the workers seem to value me as a customer. The bonus is that now there is a Duck Donuts two doors down for getting an inexpensive desert to go with the great Chinese meals!

My order was 30 minutes late. My crab ragoons were overcooked with no filling. My fried dumplings were undercooked and chewy. Shrimp with veggies were meh. Lots of yelling in the kitchen also. I know it's Christmas night, but don't say 30 minutes and make me wait an hour.

I ordered from Wong kok plenty of times and am a regular there and the food is good…. Except for the last time I ordered orange chicken…. Chicken is good but the orange chicken sauce didn’t not taste like orange… more like bbq sauce…. Very disgusting!!! Never ordering orange chicken from this place again!!!
The General Tso chicken taste good the batter isn’t too much which is great ! good sauce & very crispy! The fried rice is seasoned very well I can eat it without soy sauce ! good food over

Best shrimp toast ever. Each dish we ordered (group of five) actually looked just like the pictures. All delicious. Best Chinese food I have had in all of northern Virginia.
So glad I gave this place a second shot! My first experience wasn't too great, but tonight we said hey let's give it one more go and WOW! Totally different experience. The food was hot,fresh, and flavorful. Love that this is right next door! Not to mention their prices are affordable. Hope that this place continues to wow us. Definitely recommend the crispy shredded chicken, veggie lo mein, and veggie spring rolls! (We did pick up, but the inside of the business was very clean)
